The company is a global leader in digital imaging & (industrial) printing solutions.
As a software engineer you translate functional requirements and system architecture (decomposition) into solid software design and implementation. You work in a team of peers to create reusable full-stack software components within a large workflow software platform.
Microservices components are developed using .NET Core, using additional technologies like Entity Framework, and can be deployed in a cloud environment (Azure as well as in desktop or printer applications and on-prem servers. The user interfaces for these components are developed using our own, Angular-based, UI-framework.
Within the project you work together with colleagues based abroad. You discuss your ideas with your peers and jointly develop smart creative solutions that meet the overall project objectives. You work in an agile development team where you design, prototype, engineer, review and test your components.
Who are we looking for?
You are an enthusiastic, motivated and creative thinker, eager and able to quickly learn new programming languages and technologies. You are a pro-active team player willing to work within a team that is possibly co-located in different sites. You have the drive and competencies to deliver quality software within functional, architectural and timing constraints, taking ownership of your work and supporting your fellow team and project members.
Furthermore you meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or Informatics.
- Knowledge of, and a minimum of 1 year experience with, C# and/or Angular/TypeScript.
- Experience with Git, Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps and/or Visual Studio.
- Fluent in English, verbal and written.
- Permission to work in the Netherlands.
